Ayani Yapa Bandara brings nearly a decade of experience in Human Resources with a strong foundation in Talent Acquisition HR Operations. Ayani's career spans in a variety of industries, including retail, construction, staffing, nonprofit and now recycling.
Originally, from Sri Lanka, a small island in South East Asia, Ayani immigrated to the United States during her teenage years. Ayani holds an associate's degree in Nursing from Camden County College and a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Northwood University. Ayani also earned her SHRM-CP certification and is trilingual—fluent in Sinhala, English, and Hindi.
Outside of work, Ayani enjoys spending time with her family and traveling both locally and internationally. Ayani has a passion for exploring new cultures, connecting with people, and trying cuisines from around the world. In her free time she enjoys working out, writing poetry, and listening to global music.
